About the Foundation

Built by firefighters, for firefighters

The East Meadow Firefighters Foundation is an officially recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of the East Meadow Fire Department. Through fundraising, community partnerships, and outreach, we provide meaningful support for the initiatives that keep our firefighters strong and our community safe.

This Foundation was created for our members, our Juniors, and our Ladies Auxiliary, establishing a meaningful avenue to champion the causes that matter most to the East Meadow community.

Our Board is committed to developing creative fundraising ideas, and we look forward to partnering with the Department on efforts to recruit the next generation of East Meadow firefighters. We will work tirelessly to make this Foundation the success that you and this Department deserve.

The Foundation is organized as a Not-for-Profit Corporation under the laws of the State of New York and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) as a public charity pursuant to §509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (“IRC”) and as a tax-exempt organization pursuant to §501(c)(3) of the IRC.
